As part of a research team, I was tasked with developing code in C++ to validate or disprove the current assumption made by the experimental physicists at CERN, that the interference effects between electroweak production of hadronic vector bosons and QCD background is negligible. I utilised a Montecarlo event generator, Sherpa under different run assumptions to simulate the particle collisions, processed and interpreted generated data to create the insights and charts used within the research paper. I co-authored this research paper which is viewable within my 'publications' section.

During my placement, I developed a C# application to convert raw land survey data into a format compatible with Revit. Initially, the suggestion was to interface with the API to load data directly into Revit. I created two solutions: one that interfaced directly with the API and another that exported the data into a Revit-compatible file. I discovered that the export solution saved significant time and did not require Revit to run the program. Stakeholders embraced the modified product and appreciated my recommendation.
