I have through past work experiences with some entrepreneurial opportunities as well as 9-5s, developed my interpersonal and communication skills in person as well as over the phone. Those opportunities did provide me with what I believe would be valuable in a career in sales. I then decided to transition to B2B sales where I've been for the past three months taking a thorough and intensive online course in technology sales. The process has been a real treat, expanding my knowledge not just from the materials directly from the course but also from great reading recommendations. Books such as "How to Win Friends and Influence People," "Fanatical Prospecting," and "Spin Selling." The next step will be to turn that knowledge into practical action, developing my skills in researching for the right ICP, outreach (cold email, phone, LinkedIn), and discovery using methods SPIN and BANT.With all that has been learned, acquiring the experience in a sales development role where I'll best be fitted to apply the skills to become an asset to your team is the next step in this journey. I also have experience training and assisting others and will be able to do so with the research process.
