Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has put in place a new government framework agreement, for the supply of contingent labour for use by UK Public Sector bodies, which includes central government departments and their arm's lenght bodies and agencies, non-departmental public bodies, and local authorities. The CL ONE Framework provides a neutral vendor service to source medium/high value specialist contractors and interim managers by competing all job openings via a managed supply chain in an open and transparent way, in line with defined business rules governing supply chain management and interim pay rates.The scope of the Framework is to deliver contractors within Finance, IT, HR, Project and Programme Management, Procurement, Communications and other niche requirements on a Managers self-service approach.We work closely with CCS (Crown Commercial Service) and continuously review the rates, and ensure they accurately reflect market conditions.

In a small team of 5, we receive an influx of high priority emails and phone-calls from Capita's contractors across all verticals who had issues with their pay. Working closely and in alignment with various teams across the business (IT, payroll, legal, procurement, onboarding etc.) to investigate, identify, trouble-shoot, resolve and report.

Worked my way up from a team member (waiter) to Manager at the Windsor branch at the ripe age of 18. I loved to cover other branches and travel all over the UK to do weeks on end at different locations. My experience at Wagamama was a truly wonderful one. I met people from all walks of life and all over the world. Being a manager in this environment taught me valuable lessons in managing multi-cultural teams. Covering branches across the UK also enabled me to take a step back from my local "bubble", and learn from peers on how they managed the usual pitfalls of a hospitality business. Thus humbling me into realizing I knew very little, and that learning from others in my role was indispensable. Did I know at the time, just how much this entire experience would shape me into the person I am today? Absolutely not. Did I see this experience as a solid foundation for my work ethic, appreciation for multi-cultural teams and technology (I witnessed and project managed my branches entire digital transformation in 2009)? Nope. But now, I look back fondly at these few years that help shape the man I am today.
