👋 My name is Aranya, thanks for dropping by! 🐼 I am currently working at WWF-Canada as an Associate Specialist for Conservation Research on the Science, Knowledge and Innovation team. 🌱 I am co-founder and co-director an organization called FREED - Field Research in Ecology and Evolution Diversified. The mission is to increase access to field work for Indigenous, Black and/or Racialized undergraduates. 🧲 I completed my MSc at Western University studying the relationship between birds and the Earth's magnetic field using satellite and other remote sensing data. 🤝 I want to use data to tell interesting and useful stories about wildlife and their interaction with the land. I am equally passionate about creating spaces where all people can have a deep curiosity and entanglement with the natural world. 💬 One of my favorite things is to listen to people talk about their passions, so please do connect and say hello!
