As the CEO of Heidarian Carpet, a 130-year-old family business, I am honored to lead one of Iran's most storied companies in preserving and modernizing the rich tradition of Persian handwoven carpets. Through our commitment to excellence, we have revitalized over 1,000 traditional designs and introduced more than 100 modern ones, ensuring that our heritage remains vibrant and relevant in today’s market. In 2014, I founded ZEEEN, the first Persian concept store, which has since grown into a full-fledged company with its own production line. Our mission is to blend the beauty of traditional Persian design with modern aesthetics, creating unique objects that resonate with contemporary tastes. Additionally, I am the founder and a board member of Batik, a furniture company that embodies the same philosophy of modernizing tradition. My involvement in Tehran Design Week, where I served as a board member and head of the Urban Committee in 2024, allowed me to help shape the event's vision and direction.Over the years, I have had the privilege of revitalizing over 5,000 designs with a Persian touch across various fields, preserving cultural heritage while making it appealing to modern audiences. I have also fostered a thriving environment for designers to create contemporary objects with an authentic Iranian essence, contributing to a new wave in Persian design. My work is driven by a passion for the intersection of art, culture, and design, with a deep commitment to preserving Persian heritage while embracing innovation and sustainability. Looking ahead, my goal is to continue leading and expanding businesses that bridge the gap between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, while fostering international collaborations that bring Persian art and design to a global audience.
