About Arata Oono

Arata Oono is a designer and entrepreneur. He founded Borderless Inc. in 2012, and led first CrossHelmet project on Kickstarter in 2017, both Kickstarter and Indiegogo, it raised $500K+ in total from backers in worldwide. Also led $2M private financing to the project. Prior to start Borderless Inc, he was a product designer at GK Design Group, the largest design firm in Japan and had received RedDot Design Award and iF Design Award in 2014 through motorcycle design; MT-09 Yamaha. He graduated with a degree in BA Industrial design from Tokyo University of the Arts.
