Health Safety Environment Officer
Current Developing, update, and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies per regulatory standards. Ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations. Conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify workplace dangers. Providing Training to employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and proper safety equipment use. Investigating accidents and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend preventive actions. Developing and implementing emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and first aid coordination. Conducting regular workplace inspections to identify and address safety hazards. Facilitating communication between management and employees on safety concerns and initiatives. Ensuring the availability and proper use of PPE and assess its effectiveness. Monitoring and managing environmental aspects, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting sustainability. Maintaining accurate records of safety training, incidents, inspections, and other relevant data. Working with other departments to integrate safety considerations into processes and projects. Foster a positive safety culture through awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement. Preparing and submitting regular reports to management on safety performance, incidents, and compliance. Organize and conduct regular emergency response drills for preparedness. Recommending and implementing initiatives based on lessons learned from incidents and inspections.
