As a Senior Research Analyst part of the ADS team, I am engaged in working on various consulting deliverables and market advisory services for aerospace,defense and security industry clients, leveraging my experience in defense and aviation manufacturing sector, and apply concepts of business strategy and development accrued through hands on prior experience of working with OEM’s to develop strategic deliverables for clients. Apart from consulting role, I also closely track the aerospace and defense market, and am responsible for generating key deliverables on the impact of disruptive technologies, mega trends, and new business models through comprehensive primary and secondary market research and analysis , thereby creating valuable insights for clients on specific aviation and defense platforms,verticals and businesses, enabling clients to make strategic business decisions such as expansion through M&A, diversification, portfolio expansion, accessible market analysis, competitor strategy and profiling,etc., based on factual evidences generated.

My primary responsibility is to ensure production quality compliance and this involves conducting quality inspections to ensure absolute quality conformation, control of non-conforming products, analysis of quality issues, proposing corrective actions and preparing monthly quality reports to the executive management team. I am also a certified internal auditor for Aerospace standard AS 9100 C. As a part of my role, I also provide inputs to the end-to-end product development process – delivering quality feedback to R&D and manufacturing teams for enabling product optimization.As part of a Small – Medium enterprise, my role has been often multi-faceted. In my role, I worked closely with the customers to train them on existing products, and to ensure product availability, reliability and customer satisfaction. I also worked closely with the pre-sales and marketing teams to support identification of further new business opportunities by conducting market research – through secondary research and primary interactions with the customer community. I also supported the pre-sales and marketing teams with reviews of, Defence procurement process, customer stakeholder mapping and offset requirements.

• As a production supervisor, my key responsibilities were to:• Conduct quality inspection which includes both visual and dimensional check for the components throughout the various stages involved in the fabrication process.• Supervise various machining and fabrication processes such as milling, welding etc. involved in the component manufacturing.• Carry out overall supervision for the fabrication process of ‘Front Engine Support’ component used in tractors.• Carry out regular preventive maintenance in order to avoid breakdown during production.• Co-ordinate with raw material suppliers to ensure raw materials are available to meet production requirements and deadline.• Ensure that raw materials and supplies are well stocked and that all equipment is kept in safe, proper working order.

• Carried out visual and dimensional inspection of incoming raw materials used for manufacturing of Rollers, Pulleys and Support structures etc. used for the production of material handling systems such as bucket elevator, conveyor, bunker, stacker, re claimer, ship loader, etc. and generated reports for the same.• Checked the cutting plan for raw materials according to requirements, carried out Visual inspection of welds in structures and penetrant testing for critical weld joints at various stages of production• Performed dimensional check for structures and other various components produced according to standard production drawing using precise measuring tools and gauges including dimensions of holes, slots, grooves etc.• Carried out visual inspection during various stages of painting process• Assisted in preparation of Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) for various projects• Carried out inspection and follow up for components manufactured by our vendors• Co-ordinate with third party inspection firms representing our clients for quality inspection of finished products before dispatch and, generated and maintained reports for the same.• Conducted inspection of components housed in bonded stores for shelf life, approved source, condition and prepared documents supporting the same.
