• Coordinates and supervises all construction activities. • Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications. • Review the project plans and specifications and comment on the building design, scheduling, possible cost savings measures and potential construction problems. • Maintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problems. • Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process. • Understands the project plans and specifications • Have confidence in own ability to intelligently communicate with design team/client as well as effectively lead the trades. • Raise and discuss relevant issues at the job site meetings. • Inform the Project Manager of any errors, discrepancies or omissions contained within the Consultant’s design drawings. • Analytical with the ability to examine issues from multiple viewpoints. • Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
