Serving as the satellite "walk-in" clinic to Wardenburg Health Center, the MSK injury clinic is an appointment free sports medicine facility that provides diagnostic services to students, staff, and faculty of the University of Colorado. As an intern, I was able to work one-on-one with a licensed Physical Therapist in assisting with orthopedic physical assessment techniques and special tests including neurological screening and gait analysis.

Responsible for Inpatient care assistance at In Motion Rehabilitation is a Boulder based clinic in conjunction with the running specialty store "Boulder Running Company". It was here that I gained the observational experience required to complete my Independent Student Research Project on Functional Dry Needling. With the majority of clients being novice, intermediate, to professional runners, I worked directly with Physical Therapist and owner Marc Plaatjes to learn the basics of running form and gait analysis. I also was able to see the beneficial effects of dry needling in action through video analysis of the client before and after treatment.
