Nibosh Hse excellence Key Duties and Responsibilities: Stores 1. Prepare a requisition for material/Hire Plant and equipment procurement and liaise with the Purchase Department in this regard. 2. Follow up and monitor purchases to ensure delivery in accordance with the agreed terms. 3. Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders. 4. Co-ordinate with the QA/QC Department for material receipt compliance inspection. 5. Report, document and track discrepancies, damages and non-compliances on orders received.6. Prepares material receipt reports and submits to the Project manager/Quantity Surveyor for validation.7. Organize and manages the stores and oversee material distribution.8. Ensures proper storage and handling of hazardous materials in accordance with the relevant MSDS. 9. Maintains the asset register, materials issued, stock records and other stores Related documents in accordance with company producers and required. 10. Meets warehouse financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions. 11. Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.12.
