I'm a fifth-year PhD student studying Developmental Science and Psychology at Boston University. My research interests include the impacts of early adversity and stress on neurocognitive development. More broadly, I am interested in using science to create evidence-informed policies that improve educational outcomes. I will be entering the job market in August 2025 and am seeking a position where I may contribute to policy or policy-oriented research.Currently, I am an active contributor to a clinical trial on sleep and behavior interventions and a study on neurocognitive development in rural South African children. My dissertation research investigates the relations between stressors during the COVID-19 pandemic and autobiographical memory.Outside of my schoolwork I am engaged in several service and leadership commitments. I formerly served as the President of the Boston University Graduate Student Organization. In affiliation with this role, I also served as the BU representative in the Boston Grad Federation. Finally, I have served as a GRS Student Representative for the Graduate Student Advisory Council to Associate Dean Jeffries-El and served on several committees include the BU Provosts Faculty Teaching Awards committee, BU Community Safety Advisory Group, and the BU Climate Survey Working Group, many of which I'm still active in. I am excited to use my expertise as a psychologists to inform future decision-making and policies related to child Development.
