• Experience at Game Digital plc (September 2013 – present)• Customer Support – This is not my only role; however, it is one of my main priorities. I am to succour to the needs of our customers. This one duty includes, but is not limited to; helping with any queries a customer may have, assisting my colleagues with their own customer support tasks, aiding the disabled and elderly with any physical needs.• Sales – My department being in sales; I’m often stationed on the tills, to help customers complete their purchase. I am commissioned to offer additional products at this moment. It’s been noted that I do a great job at selling said additional products.• Shop Floor – When colleagues of mine are placed on the tills; I am positioned on the shop floor. Here I accommodate to customers’ needs before and sometimes after they make their purchase. At this location, I am the first to see customers enter the store. Consequently, it is a duty to ensure they are welcomed, as all customers are appreciated. Cleanliness is ensured in the areas I am stationed to.• Cashing Up – As a member of the management team; it’s duty of mine to cash up the tills at the end of trading. This duty includes calculating the daily revenue of the store and completing the respective paperwork. At completion, the other members of the management team are notified what the sales figures were.• Store Opening – Depending on what shift I have, occasionally it would be my job to open up the store and prepare for the day’s work. This job alone means that I need to be great at time management. For if I am not, the store could be closed during periods of trading.• Store Closing – Much like the task of opening up, every so often, I am to lock down the store. Ensuring everything is closed and security is working correctly. Before closing, as a team we would complete all end-of-the-day tasks to the best of our ability. If any tasks are remaining; the team opening up would be informed.
