Examining design drawings, shop fabrication drawings, standard details, and method Statements and specifications submitted by Contractors .14. Advising the Project Manager on submissions required by the Contractor.15. Providing professional assistance and opinion to the Project Manager and the Quantity surveyor in assessing Compensation Events.

Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications.9. Producing detailed workings, drawings and specifications.10. Specifying the nature and quality of materials required.11. Working closely with a team of other professionals such as building service engineers,construction managers, quantity surveyors and architectural technologists.12. Applying for planning permission and advice from governmental new build and legal departments.
