The Design Project is a UX/UI Design subscription business that allows tech startups to get access to a global multi-disciplinary team of designers who provide effective UX design with fast turn-around times, just what a start-up needs.

As the Lead Program Manager, I am responsible for managing key strategic client relationships, development of business opportunities, managing design programs and teams, building tools and process for the program management discipline.

I managed and executed the GIZ India - ProSoil project focused on providing support for the promotion of biochar and Terra Preta Substrate for the improvement of soil health in India. Along with Björnsen Consulting Engineers (BCE, Germany), I carried out the pre-feasibility study, feasibility study, and the development of DPR documents for the selected entities (Urban Local Bodies and Farmer Producer Organisations).

As an Advisor, I was providing overall strategic inputs on the Ennovent services.

Ennovent is an innovation accelerator working with a range of clients - including entrepreneurs, mentors, investors, foundations, NGOs and companies - to accelerate innovations for sustainability in low-income markets in developing countries.I led the Discover vertical, which helps clients source the best innovations for sustainability in low-income markets. I managed global and national clients like WWF Switzerland, Stars Foundation. Rianta Capital, National Skills Development Corporation, India (NSDC) and USAID amongst others through the various challenges.I also led the management and execution of the WWF Switzerland Tropical Forest Challenge in 2012. Prior to working with the Discover services, I led the management of Ennovent Global Network’s online engagement and services. I was responsible for building an online global community of over 1,000 members - entrepreneurs, experts, investors.

AMI was set up to help upskill managers and entrepreneurs and help build thriving businesses in Africa.As the Business Learning Manager, I was responsible for analysing new business clients in Kenya, to understand their learning and development needs, and design and customise learning programmes and packages. I also worked closely with the Chief Learning Officer to identify and train new facilitators and to constantly improve and update blended learning processes. I managed over 20 freelance facilitators who provided in-person training programs for clients. I also worked with the content team to build new content with subject matter experts and quality-assure tools and resources.

The ICC project engages young people in finding out about the impacts of climate change in their own community, help them design action projects and share information & learning with their counterparts in the UK & Kenya. I executed and monitored the ICC project in Pune, India. I co-developed an academic training tool to train youth to think critically on local climate change issues. I also delivered teacher training programs and workshops for the youth.I conceptualised the re-branding and design of CDE’s website, newsletter and other marketing activities.I also co-authored an academic resource handbook on the “Local Biodiversity Issue”, Pune, 2010.

CleanStar Trust CleanStar Trust an Indian non-profit, was founded in 2007 based on award-winning research at the Oxford University. CleanStar Trust provides financial and technical support to the rural poor in setting up agro-forestry and clean energy production micro-enterprises.I led the operations and was responsible for overseeing the various programs, initiatives and managing strategic partnerships with various stakeholders. I worked with farmer groups to implement boundary plantation projects. I was responsible for selling the voluntary carbon credits for the Plant a Million Biofuel tree campaign and also assisted in conducting an internal social audit of a project using CCBA (Climate, Community & Biodiversity Alliance) Standards. CleanStar EnergyCleanStar Energy worked with the Rockefeller Foundation on the SPEED (Smart Power for Environmentally Sound Economic Development) project. The SPEED project envisages providing access to distributed & decentralized clean energy solutions for the world’s energy poor.I co-ordinated the overall branding & marketing strategy for the Smart Power for Rural Development (SPRD) project. I designed a roadmap for the SPEED pilot implementation rollout in Maharashtra (India). I participated in a 3-week biomass feedstock resource mapping field exercise to generate GIS data in 3 Indian states (Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu) and designed an analytical tool to select economically viable pilot sites.

New Ventures India, a program of the World Resources Institute (WRI), USAID and CII-GBC, promotes cleantech innovation, environmental entrepreneurship and triple-bottom line investing. I was responsible for identifying and sourcing cleantech and impact startups from across India. I supported the selection of the top enterprises and execution of the annual Investor Forum. I managed the New Ventures India - Green Investors Network, the Steering Committee, public relations & media. I was also a part of the CII- Godrej Green Business Centre’s brand building team and helped develop their overall brand strategy.
