With over 7 years of leadership experience, I am strategic and considered in my leadership approach and have genuine concern for people, their wellbeing and safety.I have over two decades of experience in the Energy and Infrastructure industry, and in this time, I have held diverse roles including engineering, project management, programme and construction delivery roles, and senior management roles as the Auckland Development Manager and Regional Services Manager, mostly working at Transpower, NZ's National Grid Owner. As the Auckland Development Manager, I played a pivotal role in driving initiatives to meet customer needs, manage stakeholder relationships, and implement strategic projects and initiatives aligned with the organization’s objectives.Currently as the Regional Services Manager, I lead a team (of Service Delivery and Service Performance Managers) who is the custodian of the National Grid, delivering reliable and resilient service to our connected customers in the Upper North Island region.I have also worked as the Manager for Construction Delivery at Watercare, leading the teams delivering major projects essential to Auckland's infrastructure development. Tasked with a billion-dollar delivery programme, I had been instrumental in resetting troubled projects, enhancing safety standards, improving team capability, and fostering strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time outdoors with my kids, Ria and Ryan. Occasionally, my husband, Rudy and I go kayak fishing in the sheltered Magazine Bay at Maraetai, enjoy the sunrise and share a picnic.

Currently as the Regional Services Manager (and the Auckland Regional Office Manager), reporting to the Executive General Manger, I lead a team of Service Delivery and Service Performance Managers. The team is the custodian of the National Grid, delivering reliable and resilient service to our connected customers in the Upper North Island region. The Upper North Island region spans from Taupo to the top of North Island.The team delivers the maintenance and operational work under Transpower’s Master Grid Services Contract with our Service Providers (Northpower and Omexom).As part of the Regional Services Manager role, I am accountable for the delivery of the maintenance programme (~$30M per year), management of the Service Delivery risks, the relationship with our Service Providers and the operational performance to meet the service levels agreed with our customers. We ensure continuous improvement in the delivery and maintenance of the grid safely and with minimal network interruption.

Watercare is tasked with delivering ~$8.9billion of new infrastructure within 10 years, and a further $9billion over the following decade. The Major Projects delivery is under the Enterprise model which is a 10-year collaboration between Watercare and its planning, design and construction partners. It's a great time to be part of Watercare with the proposed water industry reforms, potential economic regulation and it’s exciting to be part of our 40:20:20 strategy (carbon, cost and safety improvement for Auckland and our customers) and the Enterprise model.
