The team, under her leadership has been constantly knocking down all walls to prove that PU education can be very much based on creativity & innovation, connectivity & collaboration, sustainability & global citizenship. She left their high paying corporate jobs in Bangalore to make a mark in the direction of her “calling” to re-imagine and re-create education! Smt. Archana S Kumar completed her Engineering in Telecommunication and secured a gold medal in her post-graduation in management studies. She is also a state rank holder in Carnatic music. Although she had many high paying corporate jobs in her kitty, she decided to work with NGOs in the social sector. She worked with leading NGOs in Bangalore to make an impact in the areas of education, disability - inclusive education & youth empowerment. She has closely worked with the Soligas – the tribal people from Biligiri Hills. She is the author of a blog called “indiraasta”. She is currently in the leadership & management team of Sri Sapthagiri Education Trust as the Chief Belief Officer & Administrative Head. She is way beyond her designation as she loves being called an adult learner and is passionate about working with young minds and teachers. She is down to earth, empathetic, sensitive and creative. Her ability to connect with children through conversations and stories is a great strength she carries.Under her leadership, Sri Sapthagiri Pre-University College has bagged the only internationally acclaimed National award – IDA Education Award for two consecutive years 2022 and 2023 under the title – “Enabling Experiential Learning” from renowned education experts from around the globe.
