Project Description: As part of AS-IS migration all the components were migrated to Power BI with same level of visualization and access and scheduled frequencies with email notifications.Responsibilities:• Gathering the requirements from the Inventory and optimized the inventory.• Tested connection to Oracle and Sybase databases as per the versions available.• Categorize the reports as per the usage of reports.• Develop the cognos report in Power BI with same functionalities of filtrations and access.• Created Paginated reports with Power BI Report builder.• Applied RLS for the Power BI desktop and Power BI report builder reports.• Created Deployment pipelines for the Prod deployment and within workspace movement of reports.• Created Power BI user guide document and provided walk through on it for the Users Post Prod deployment.• Provided support to the Users in accessing and viewing reports shared to them.• Created Cannada Sales cubes with hierarchies, Dax calculations like past 12 months date to date values, YTD, MTD calculations.• Provided training on Cubes for the Users and provided access to them to their workspaces.• Scheduling the refresh of Datasets, Subscribing the reports for email notifications, Gateway connection checks were taken care.
