Sutradhaar was founded with the purpose to bridge the gap between the vast tapestry of Indigenous Wisdom and the modern worldview that we are wrapped in. The blend of ancestral wisdom of the traditional communities from around the world & the new age methods of the current times ensure that we co-create sustainable solutions which honors our roots and also mindfully uses the latest technology and tools available to us. We believe dreams are the strongest impulse for change and propels the community into positive actions. We nurture these on the foundation of Indigenous Wisdom and Ancestral Knowledge. Through this process we engage the communities to look for abundance instead of scarcity, opportunities instead of problems. We use dream as an impulse to convert thoughts into action.

World

At 'The Mountain People' we engage on protection, preservation and conservation of the fragile Mountain Ecosystems. We work closely with the Indigenous Communities who call these mountains home and partners who are driven by a similar passion to build programs that reduces man animal conflict, revitalizes the natural resources and minimizes the damage to the biodiversity of the region.Over the years we have built a vast network of partners across the Trans Himalayan region spanning 4 Countries and 14 regions within India from the North to Eastern Himalayas. From working on protecting the Ecology, making communities disaster resistant, protecting the biodiversity to reviving the traditional skills to build sustainable livelihood ecosystems.Besides the above we are engaged in research & Mapping of these regions to document all the essential information and stories to pass on to the future generations.
