I worked on multiple engagements involving compliance monitoring and IRO assistance in the life sciences industry. I participated in compliance assessments for various pharmaceutical manufacturers around interactions with physicians and the testing of sales and marketing activities such as educational sponsorships, speaking arrangements, consulting arrangements, research grants and healthcare professional expenses. I also assisted pharmaceutical companies’ compliance departments in monitoring promotional activity, including on-site monitoring of the company’s promotional speaker programs.
