Working on A fast track project at one of the busiest locations in the world, KAME Project (King AbdulAziz Mataf Extension) located in Mecca is a 227,500 sqm built-up area characterized by being a 24/365 active site, therefore keeping track with work scope is a challenge by itself.As an architect engineer, I worked on analyzing specifications, design and shop drawings submitted by designer as well as observing work at site in order to ensure compliance in all building aspects therefore increasing efficiency, decreasing costs, and enforce adherence of building codes.Preparing progress status reports, violation reports, Daily site Comments and site instructions to ensure optimum quality of work execution, and finally performing inspection Request when work is completed.Teamwork sense by managing a team of four junior architects to optimize site supervision and keeping track with the fast pace work.

Worked on a variety of Commercial, Retail mixed-use, Religious, Metro station, Hotel, Educational and office building projects. Through my work i was exposed to Preliminary design stages (PD) right through to completion of tender documents phase (TD). As well as my ability to utilise Auto CAD, Sketchup, 3dmax, Adobe photoshop and other graphics communication programs when required in each stage.Working on the Design of small scale projects (planning and massing) including all required architectural Drawings; Plan, Elevations, Sections, RCPs, Settingout, Vertical Circulation, Renderings, etc. Also Coordinating with remaining disciplines to meet their requirements and finally producing details under senior supervision.As for large scale projects duties varied from project to another, however the scope becomes narrower (two to three items), e.g external envelope design & massing, floor patterns, RCPs, Wet areas, Renderings, Fire fighting, signage, Hardscape details, also Following up with model maker.Assisted in the design, drawing production and presentation of various competitions within tight time frame as shown in Portfolio, also preparing reports for clients, municipalities and awards e.g. the Arabian Property Award. using Indesign and MO aiding programs.
