My goal is to design and install unique gardens and outdoor living areas personalized to each individual. Always fitting the client’s wants and needs to the actual landscape is the most important thing to me.There are so many different and small aspects that go into a successful design; traffic pattern, custom walkways, patios hardscape, plant selection, structures, existing terrain, site conditions, maintenance, budget and aesthetics are only a few.When all of these are brought together in a thoughtful way a beautiful landscape is created.Plant selection and quality is also very important to me. That’s why we grow over 100 different varieties of trees locally in the Grand Rapids area. They consist of shade trees, flowering ornamentals, evergreen trees and just cool and unique one-of-a-kinds. This allows me to control quality. I’m always studying and researching to find the next new and upcoming trees to grow at our farms to bring to your yard. On top of growing our own trees, I also travel around the U.S. to hand pick specimen plants with the highest quality for use in my landscapes and for sale at our Garden Center.
