-Managed new Upstream clinical pilot plant that focused on the introduction of large scale single use bioreactors (200L and 2000L) prior to their introduction on the production floor. -Lead the introduction of new large scale single use bioreactor systems (200L and 2000L) into the new cGMP production facility and operated as the subject matter expert for Upstream Manufacturing.-Provided front line technical support for the upstream cGMP manufacturing process by overseeing the cell culture process from thaw through the harvest and providing troubleshooting, investigation, and deviation documentation.-Authored SOPs, User Required Specification, and Design Specifications for the new single use bioreactor systems through collaboration with Facilities, Computer Systems Validation and Manufacturing Quality Sciences. -Collaborated with Validations, Computer Systems Validations and Facilities groups to perform Functional Test Protocol on single use bioreactors to release them for GMP use, as well as troubleshooting issues that arose during testing. -Represented Manufacturing in Change Control Review meetings as the primary departmental Engineering Change Request author in order to ensure efficient and timely release of equipment for GMP use. -Authored and investigated Incident Reports, Deviation Reports, and Equipment Calibration Reports performing a root cause analysis and determining the extent of product quality impact before determining if a corrective action/preventative action is required.-Assisted in the development and implementation of a training program for new upstream manufacturing employees to efficiently and effectively operate the Upstream manufacturing facility and be able to perform basic troubleshooting.-Partnered with the Process Development team during engineering production runs on the manufacturing floor to allow a seamless transfer of information of current performance parameters to ensure an efficient transition from the lab to production.

I was to troubleshoot any potential issues that may arise during the pre-beta, and beta phases of testing, and report them to the developer. Communication with the developer was crucial to be able to determine if the bugs reported were addressed with each successive update to the software.
