I wrote software to automate our data collection, engineering and migration processes into thisnew system. The amount of data being managed amounted to several million rows formost tables, requiring optimised queries through indexing and partitioning.The backend was built using Django with extensively customised class-based viewsallowing for a highly centralised structure, and a comprehensive API using the django rest framework.The front end incorporated several packages such as select2, fullcalendar and jspreadsheet.The project is deployed as a web app on the Google Cloud platform.
