As a beach lifeguard at RNLI, I have been providing vital safety and rescue services to the public for over five years. I have developed strong communication skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and in a team. I have a BSc Biochemistry from Cardiff University, where I have gained laboratory skills and knowledge in the field of molecular biology. During my studies, I have developed my data analysis of small and large data sets through the use of R studio and Microsoft Excel and advanced my presentation skills. I have also served as a student representative and a volunteer for the NHS, demonstrating my leadership and community involvement. I am passionate about combining my lifeguarding and biochemistry skills to contribute to the advancement of science and the protection of the environment.
