● Works as Systems Administrator: ABN AMRO/RBS (Asia Pacific Region) o Supports Production AS400 systems, environments and users of (APAC) Asia Pacific Branches of ABN AMRO/RBS like China, Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam running SCORE application. o Supports and maintains AS400 Robot Scheduler which runs the daily end-of-day and start-of-day batch jobs. o Performs troubleshooting and diagnosing production problems such as connectivity, printing problems, restoring of data and reports, and other problems related to the system and its interfaces; then corrects the identified problems. o Installs and maintains AS400 Production, High Availability and Test Servers, Operating System and Tape Drives/Library like the IBM 3494 and TS3100(LTO tapes). o Performs Scratch Install of system for test purposes. o Promoting changes, upgrades and new developments to programs and softwares. o Running and gathering audit reports. o Performs data migration and hardware or software upgrades. o Configures PC Windows Connection using Client Access and PerComm, printer devices, TCPIP and SSL connection. o Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, tape backup systems, and response times to maintain operating efficiency. o Performs Disaster Recovery Procedures. o Writes or modifies basic CL Programs to resolve performance problems and automate systems administration tasks. o Participates in disaster recovery testing. o Maintains system documentation and logs. o Use of Pentasafe Software to conduct ongoing security risk assessments including the monitoring, investigation and reporting of security and access violations. o Review system performance statistics; performs system and network configuration, modifications and fixes. o Research, test and evaluate vendor hardware and software products.

Works as presales consultant for various clients and do diverse activities for presales~Provides actual technical presentation of the AS400 product line, discusses the features, capabilities and connectivity to heterogeneous environment. ~Prepares sizing study and system configuration of an AS400 machine for new accounts and clients using iSeries performance tools and Snapshot/400 software.~Conducts systems assurance together with IBM technical and marketing people on the hardware and software configuration of the system to ensure that the proposal given to a client is a working solution and would meet their requirements.~Conducts site inspections (before installation) that includes activities like measurement of the voltage reading of electricity source outlets, checking the air conditioning and room temperature and measuring the room’s dimension in order to find out if the site will meet the installation requirement of the machine.~Sets-up and installs loaner IBM AS400 machines and OS400 for demonstration purposes and the client’s evaluation on the machine.Works solo and as a team member with IBM in various post sales activities~Installs new and loaner AS400 machine and sets it up for installation of client application programs and integrates the AS400 to the existing network infrastructure and the internetInstalls License Internal Code, OS400, PTFs and other Licensed Program Products~Conducts Hardware and Software upgrades on the AS400 including installation of new disks, controller cards, printers, tape drives and other peripherals~Provides technical assistance to client on software problems and general consultancy on systems software particularly on an OS400 environment.~Conducts performance monitoring activity and analysis for the identification of systems bottlenecks and provides recommendations to achieve to optimize the performance of the machine.~Partition System using HMC.
