As the Business Manager for Hall of Residence 15, I am entrusted with securing sponsorships for all events organized by the hall, playing a pivotal role in ensuring their success. In addition to managing sponsorships, I oversee the logistics and accounting related to the goods procured. One of my key responsibilities includes co-leading the planning and execution of Welfare Week in collaboration with the Director of Welfare, aiming to enhance the well-being of residents. Furthermore, I lead a dedicated subcommittee. This role allows me to hone my leadership, negotiation, and project management skills while contributing to the hall’s vibrant community.

As the Director, I will be one of the people designing the curriculum for the new batch of Invest Academy students for the 2024-2025 academic year. Additionally, I will also be conducting lessons and providing guidance to students as they embark on their investment journeys.

My experience at Invest Academy has been a remarkable journey of growth and discovery in the world of investments. Initially focused solely on the stock market, my understanding expanded to encompass a wide range of asset classes, including commodities and forex. Engaging in hands-on projects provided invaluable opportunities for self-directed learning and practical experience in trading.A key aspect of my learning involved understanding the critical role of macroeconomic indicators, which are often overlooked but essential for comprehensive market analysis. This knowledge significantly improved my ability to navigate and evaluate complex financial markets.Collaborating with my teammates on various projects was an enriching experience. I learned a great deal from their insights and approaches, which broadened my perspective and enhanced our collective outcomes.I am deeply grateful to the directors and mentors who shared their vast knowledge and expertise with us. Their guidance was instrumental in shaping my holistic approach to investment analysis and strategy, empowering me and my peers to excel in the dynamic world of investments.

After four intense days of limited sleep, extensive discussions, and continuously running around campus, the SSS Orientation was successfully concluded, welcoming over 400 incoming students. As the Director of Logistics, I was responsible for:- Developing and overseeing the comprehensive logistical plan for the event.- Efficiently managing resource allocation to ensure smooth operations.- Anticipating potential issues and formulating contingency plans.- Documenting and reporting all logistics activities.- Collaborating closely with other directors, including those responsible for Safety and Welfare.This experience taught me the importance of thorough planning—not just having a backup plan, but also a backup for the backup. We faced several conflicts, from last-minute changes to unexpected hurdles, but through open communication and teamwork, we resolved them effectively.I am deeply grateful to my seniors for their invaluable guidance and leadership, which provided a strong foundation throughout the process. I also want to extend my appreciation to my colleagues, whose collaboration made every challenge seem surmountable. With this, my tenure as the Director of Logistics for the SSS TOP has come to a close.

Serving as the General Affairs and Logistics Coordinator for the Singapore Financial Conference 2024 equipped me with a diverse set of skills. One of the most valuable lessons I learned was the importance of adaptability and quick thinking in the face of unexpected challenges.My responsibilities were comprehensive and multifaceted, encompassing the management of participants, ensuring the seamless execution of operations, and securing goods for the event at competitive prices. A new and invaluable skill I developed was content creation, as I was tasked with designing an investment booklet. This booklet outlined the program's flow and provided attendees with foundational knowledge of finance, setting the stage for a more enriching experience during the conference. Working alongside an exceptional team and under the guidance of our insightful mentors, I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a prestigious event.

As a Manager for the Business and Finance Division of the NTU Rotaract Club, I had the privilege of undertaking a variety of responsibilities, from securing sponsorships by corresponding with firms to maintaining logistics and representing the club. One of the highlights of my tenure was promoting the club during two significant events: Social Impact Week and NTU Rotaract Month. While my role did not involve direct communication with the beneficiaries, I took immense pride in knowing that my efforts in obtaining sponsorships significantly impacted society. I am particularly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects such as the YD Children's Day Carnival and the IS Migreat Brother Flagship event. The latter focused on spreading financial literacy among migrant workers in Singapore, a cause close to my heart.My experience in the NTU Rotaract Club has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to witness the positive changes we can bring to our community through dedicated teamwork and unwavering commitment.
