Implemented WAP gateway portal for Airtel. This was one of the first WAP implementations in India. Worked with the marketing team at Airtel to build a portfolio of services based on WAP and SMS gateways.Implemented a WAP to FAX solution where WAP email attachments could be printed at the nearest FAX machine.Worked with a large US customer to build a payment and cheque printing solution.Built a shop floor management solution for print shops. This print shops uses the OCe (now Canon) Print Systems.Worked on building a control software for large envelop sorting system built by Bowe-Bell and Howell. This was built using open source technologies and was clocking at more than 100 envelopes per second.Helped to build J2EE practice and CoE at SYSTIME but putting up a systematic induction, training and execution programs for new employees.Helped drive the department to be a more niche skills player with the adoption of Fusion Middleware.
