Registered architect specializing in healthcare. I am always seeking new opportunities to discuss how architecture can heal, teach, and transform. I am a LEED accredited professional and EDAC certified. I'm a firm believer in Integrated Project Delivery and sustainable/resilient methodologies. Having worked on a wide variety of hospitality and education projects as well, I am able to offer our healthcare clients perspective on trends in other markets. As the healthcare model continues to emphasize patient-centered care, my hospitality background provides a great benefit to clients. Example was a 67,000 sf Medical Office Building with a range of practices including ambulatory surgery and imaging that was designed to create a soft, welcoming environment. Past projects include Free-Standing Emergency Department, ICU Renovation, Med-surg patient room renovations, Campus master planning, two major surgical pavilion additions, Obstetrics Suite Renovation, new central laboratory, wound care suites, and a new entry mall with renovated out patient services. I am the past 2022 AIA South Carolina President. I continue to serve AIA SC on the Resilience Committee with the goal of pushing for a more resilient future for South Carolina and coordinating architect's post disaster response around the state.
