1. S&OP Implementation: Led the establishment of an S&OP process for a pharma co. Spearheaded conceptualization and execution of the process while managing multiple stakeholders at Dir/Sr Dir level.2. 3PL Selection & Management: Executed 3PL selection process (warehousing & distribution) for a drug-device combination product as part of its launch and commercialization. 3. Built a COGS model which included demand projections, revenue estimations and COGS calculations based off various input parameters and migrated the same to Tableau. 6. COGs Modelling: Included projected demand, capacity scale-up requirements, and strategies to meet clinical and commercial needs for a drug. Suggested COGS reduction techniques, process optimization strategies and CMO/CDMO onboarding strategy7. Animal Pharma CM Gap Assessment: Assessed the contract manufacturing network gap relative to industry best practices for a client in the animal pharma business. Conducted in-depth diagnostic of their CMO network.8. Connected Supply Chain: Identified key challenges in the supply chain for orthopedic and implant medical devices; Evaluated the costs involved at each level and suggested best practices for asset tracking and inventory control for implant devices.

As an experienced associate, I worked with global pharmaceutical and medical device organizations to help improve operational effectiveness, with a special focus on manufacturing scale-up, optimization of supply chains, and onboarding contract manufacturing partners. Projects: 1. COGS Reduction Strategy for a virtual pharmaceutical client- Developed a proposed future state plan for the commercial launch of a blood-plasma product, focused on achieving a lower manufacturing COGs/g at higher volumes. Set-up a dynamic COGS model to identify and solve for critical decisions in the manufacturing process.2. Improvement opportunities for CMO Org management at a animal health client- Refined and designed a scalable operating model for the ‘problematic products’. Developed a balanced set of metrics and established performance dialogue. Identified and prioritized actions/initiatives to close performance gaps to realize the “future state” model.3. COVID-19 Ventilator Supply Planning- Scaled up ventilator production by ~10X in 1 month (urgency driven by onset of Covid-19 in Mar ’20) by quickly standing up a frugal supply chain, robust material resource planning system and added production capacity by identifying and setting up an alternate manufacturing facility.

Studied GMI’s current distributor network in tier 1 cities, benchmarked against competition and arrived at a framework to onboard new distributor partners. Developed a tool to identify, assess and onboard distributor partners for GMI; Reviewed 38 current distributors in 4 million+ population towns for General Mills using the onboarding tool; Piloted the recommendation with 4 new distributor appointments across Mumbai.

Working as a Technology Consultant in the Foreign Systems Interfacing team at Cerner, I got the opportunity of servicing clients (primarily hospitals) across countries like USA, UAE, Qatar, Singapore and UK.I worked on clinical and financial FSI (Foreign System Interfacing) projects with clients spread across the world. During my tenure at Cerner, I worked with over 12 clients, maintaining a very high billable and revenue utilisation ratio for the organisation. I singlehandedly spearheaded two pilot FSI projects in the United States and Ireland which were not previously handled by the FSI team in India, was solely responsible for the set up and upscaling of engagement with these two clients. I worked in collaboration with several hospitals and healthcare IT vendors during his stint as a Technology Consultant at Cerner. This helped me develop a great understanding of the healthcare industry and the market both in India as well as other parts of the world. I was awarded the 'Night On The Town' award for going above and beyond his call of duty and helping out with a high risk and critical client. I was also awarded the 'Consulting Project Eagle' award for Q4 2016. This was awarded for my efforts involved in establishing and scaling up a new engagement with a client in the US.

Worked on the integration of medical and bedside medical devices as an intern at Cerner Healthcare Solutions Pvt Ltd in Bangalore. I was part of the MDI team that undertook a project to integrate an Abbott medical device with a hospital system in the UAE. I was also responsible for undertaking a capacity management project with a hospital in the UAE. The capacity management tool is a fully automated solution developed and installed by Cerner in hospitals to improve patient throughput and quality of care rendered by the hospitals. While interning at Cerner, I completed a project for Manipal University titled 'Medical Device Integration'
