- Mentoring 6 sophomores from the Mechanical Engineering department.- Ensuring their balanced growth: mentally and intellectually as they tackle core engineering courses for the first time. - Conducting help sessions for core courses to clarify concepts and doubts of students in their core curriculum

Conducted weekly help sessions for first-year students to clarify concepts and doubts in the course MA110: Linear Algebra and Differential Equations

• Learned the single crystal manufacturing process in the lab by regularly attending ongoing experiments• Performed simulations of the manufacturing sequence in Ansys Fluent using dynamic meshes, radiation, and solidification models to optimize the microstructural properties using the knowledge gained in the lab• Studied the group’s past research papers to understand the development of single-crystal blades further

• Performed an experimental analysis involving the Design of Experiments and ANOVA tests of a novel VPP process, capable of embedding spatially steered carbon fibers to optimize print quality• Devised new metrics to characterize splay in carbon fiber tows using image analysis in Python using OpenCV• Formulated a relation between carbon fiber laying speed, path resolution, and carbon fiber splay• Contributed to the ongoing development of the new concept of ’vertical resin film’ based 3D printing
