Focus: innovative and antiracist practices/coaching, school design, competency-based equitable grading systems, community-designed school and staff culture practices, curriculum design and Implementation, inclusive of all content areas and K-12.Districts and CMOs include: Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Highland Park ISD, Boston Public Schools, New Tech Network, Fort Worth ISD, Green Dot Public Schools, and more. I work primarily with Superintendents, Chiefs of Staff, principal managers, and executives leading curriculum implementation or strategy.School design proposal was presented at Miami City Hall in Spring 2009. Superintendent Carvahlo (now in LAUSD) adopted the proposal in Summer 2009. It became the platform that launched his first full school year as Superintendent. The school grade improved from a historical trend of D/F to B within two years and later became an “A” school for the first time in school history.

In partnership with Mayor Manny Diaz and The Children’s Trust.At the 2008 US Conference of Mayors, I was invited as a VIP and received recognition in community leadership from then-Mayor Manny Diaz and then-Senator Barack Obama. Selected by both Diaz and Obama to lead the launch of the High school Dropout Task Force.

Launched AP for All through the Advanced Academics and Career Academies; SPIRIT Conflict Resolution (program of the Department of Justice); Led school redesign efforts that resulted in improvement from grades D to B within 2 years; Assistant Athletic Director and Coach; Student Government Advisor; Teach for America, 2006 CorpsTaught AP World History, Seminar and Study Skills (AP Lang-aligned), AP U.S. History, AP Psychology, AP Government and AP Macroeconomics. Supported design of the AP Human Geography launch. Recognized by then-Governor Charlie Crist for excellent instruction and student growth outcomes.

Coordinate and execute athletic department special events including, but not limited to: - fundraising events/auctions- team banquets for men’s and women’s basketball- award dinners, including the M Club Hall of Fame - basketball game day award presentations - alumni reunions for men’s basketball - golf outings Assist with men's basketball game day management including set-up and security of donor hospitality rooms. Coordinate Athletic Director suite at men's basketball games. This includes working with invited guests/donors, tickets coordinations, food/beverage orders, staffing the suite, and coordinating information about guests to provide to staff (Athletic Director, fundraisers and University President).
