At the Santa Barabra Zoo I acted as the shift lead / manager for the Entertainment Department. We performed stage shows with animatronic dinosaurs for kids, performed in mascot costume (I particularly played Marley the Meerkat), and performed with puppets (I always played Raven, a raven, or Turtle, a tortoise). My job specifically dealt with writing new scripts for shows, scheduling the show actors, working with upper management on show needs such as props, working with upper management on special zoo events such as Boo at the Zoo, working with the Animal Care and Education teams to bring in as much knowledge and educational points into our shows as we could, as well as occasionally help with guest service needs such as selling tickets, monitoring zoo activities such as the rock climbing wall, and reception. I also performed and helped the Events department coordinate offsite experiences, such as the Santa Barbara Holiday Parade.

As a junior talent agent, I networked with our talent roster to send them out for consideration for casting on theatrical projects, commercial projects, and print projects, both SAG-AFTRA and non-union. I also help with social media management, organization of the office, and interviews with possible new talent. I would clean up meeting rooms before and after agent meetings, would keep track of our talent's schedules (when they would need to be out of town, when they were going on vacation, etc.), as well as provide assistance to both the theatrical and the commercial agents. I would help around the office filing paperwork, canning paperwork into a digital space, I put together SAG-AFTRA packets with contracts to be sent to the organization, worked on organizing client social media accounts, and would organize new talent submissions based on what the agency was looking for.

As a college representative: communicate with students, prospective students, and parents via phone call and email or in person at the school about different programs the school offered, how to go about applying to the school, and general information about the school that was not department specific (for example - I could not build a class schedule for a student because that would fall under Academic Counseling, though I could show a student a mock schedule). I would also coordinate with the leads and management on working at campus-wide events, and organize the back office for representatives.As a lead college representative in addition to responsibilities above: conduct offsite outreach at Nordhoff High School in Ojai, CA, train new college representatives, work with management on planning campus wide events, work on projects for events or for the department as a whole as given by upper management, and help with scheduling college representatives.
