I actively support the day-to-day contract administration duties, coordinate with subcontractors for shop drawings, additional work pricing, and design submittals, and maintain accurate records such as shop drawings and change management. Additionally, I play a crucial role in creating and updating as-built drawings, fostering a comprehensive and organized approach to project management.

In this role, I provide comprehensive customer assistance for the Building Department by addressing phone and counter inquiries. I efficiently schedule and coordinate inspection times with builders and developers. Before plan reviews, I meticulously verify that each application file contains all necessary documentation. Additionally, I oversee the coordination of Building Department applications throughout the review process, providing regular updates to applicants via email and phone. Managing the property filing system, both in hard copy and electronically, is part of my role, including the coordination, tracking, and system updates for all building permit applications. Furthermore, I prepare correspondence, reports, and resolutions for the Chief Building Official to submit to the Council, administration, or other relevant organizations.
