Before starting SEQSTER, I had the privilege of launching various clinical and consumer-based genetic tests and leading multidisciplinary teams while serving as Chief Commercial Officer of Pathway Genomics. Additionally, I held the position of Senior Vice President, GM Genomics at Ambry Genetics, which was later acquired by Konica for $1 Billion in 2017.One of my significant contributions was playing a crucial role in the landmark 2013 SCOTUS decision that eliminated gene patents, expanding access to genetic testing. The launch of BRCA testing, in particular, had a profound impact on patients and their families nationwide.My educational background includes a BS in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine and an MBA from Marshall Goldsmith School of Management. Throughout my entrepreneurial career, I have been recognized with many awards, such as a Top 40 Healthcare Transformer by Medical, Marketing, and Media (MM&M), San Diego Business Journal's 40 under 40, COX Top Tech Awardee, SD500 Most Influential Leaders, Top 10 Pioneers Redefining Healthcare in 2021. Med Tech World Rising Star 2022 and PharmaVOICE 100 Inspiring Leaders in Life Sciences 2023.I have presented our innovation globally at 50+ conferences and have been featured on 40+ podcasts.I also serve on the Digital Health Advisory Board of UCSD, Advisory Board of Inside Precision Medicine and am a faculty member for NextMed.Health
