, I taught three internet-based, upper division, undergraduate courses: "Wildlife Biology," "Wildlife Damage Management" and "Vegetation and Landscapes in Relation to Wildlife." These courses were designed to familiarize students with current issues in wildlife biology and wildlife damage management. Students selected scientific papers from a variety of journals and wrote a critique of the paper. Grading was based on understanding of the subject matter, adherence to the required format and writing skills. Students ranged from undergraduates seeking to fulfill course requirements to working professionals.

Designed and implemented field evaluation for a bait delivery device for coyotes and obtained research grants to fund said research. Maintained research sites in California and Utah. Duties included capture and collaring of free-ranging coyotes, basic physical examinations of coyotes with blood collection, performed basic necropsy, monitored coyote locations by radio telemetry and remote cameras, entered data into Arc View, calculated home ranges. Worked in rugged terrain, often under extreme heat. Hired and supervised personnel. Presented updates to the funding organization and other interested stakeholders. Submitted findings for publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
