- Create and update 3D assembly models of equipment, generating part and sub-assembly drawings for fabrication- Work with sales/solution development teams to create material handling system concepts per customer requests, analyzing customer order data to drive design decisions. Presentation of conceptual system designs for engineering reviews and bidding purposes- Design, detail, and review installation set drawings for site execution team to use. Detail existing conceptual layouts to calculate firm pricing, and generate detailed BOMs (Bill of Materials)- Assist in creation of company’s mechanical drawing standards- Create comprehensive drawing/scope of work document packages for RFQs (Request for Quote)- Facilitate the submission of Purchase Orders Requisitions (PORs). Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, addressing potential issues to scope/timeline/budget, and develop actionable plans with team leads- Track and verify receipt of incoming materials. Conduct quality inspections of said materials and assess post-installation performance. Oversee material availability, supervise installation quality, and provide vital assistance during execution, commissioning, and testing phases—operating tools/machinery as necessary. - Create accurate spare parts lists and verify quality for customer turnover- Compile detailed daily site reports and as-built documentation of completed system. Maintain adherence to OSHA regulations and local state safety standards throughout the project- Detail as-sold material handling solutions and confirm volume/rate viability with mathematical models prior to purchase requisition
