National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) is an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, that offers online courses and certification in various fields of engineering, science, humanities, and management. The courses are developed by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and are made available for free to learners across the globe. I collaborated with IIT Madras for the project and translated Dr Anindita Sahu's lectures from English to Hindi for Hindi listening-speaking audience. My work helped to make Dr. Sahu's lectures accessible to a wider audience, and contributed to the success of the NPTEL project.

As a Language Educator at Vision Aid Incorporated, a non-profit organization based in Massachusetts, USA, I worked to create a comprehensive spoken English course to cater the needs of visually challenged people across India. This course was designed with the aim of strengthening their articulation skills, which can help them work in varying sectors and live with independence and dignity.In addition to teaching the course, I collaborated with educational institutions: Ahmadi School for the Visually Challenged, Aligarh, Loui Braille Blind School, Agra, and Vision Aid Center, Vishakapatnam to reach a wider audience. By partnering with these groups, the course created impact and provided people with the opportunity to improve their English communication skills. Besides, it incorporated a variety of teaching methods and materials. For example, the use of phonetic system to make the English listening intelligible to them, activities consisting of audio recordings, and tactile materials to help students improve their vocabulary, and also provided opportunities for their conversational skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.Through this comprehensive Spoken English Course and partnerships with local organizations and educational institutions, I was able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many people across India.
