My name is Areeba Zafar and I am currently pursuing my Bachelors degree in Marketing at the Rutgers Business School in New Brunswick. I am expected to graduate in the Fall of 2024 with Summa Cum Laude honors. I am currently the Digital Media and Marketing Intern for The Walt Disney Company and Marvel Entertainment. I have worked with senior leaders in digital marketing to craft strategic plans and increase consumer engagement across Marvel’s digital media. I work on the Marvel HQ YouTube channel, where I create front-end content and analyze back-end digital market research. I have been an honors student throughout my academic journey, graduating at the top 7% of my graduating class. I also have significant exposure to various extracurricular activities, including active participation in honors societies and volunteer programs. Currently, I am pursuing an undergraduate degree program at Rutgers Business School to gain a broad leadership perspective, a comprehensive understanding of business fundamentals, and a strong grasp of marketing strategy. I aspire to take an executive marketing position in understanding consumer choices, patterns, and behavior using advanced analytics and modern technology.I am a creative, innovative, and hardworking individual who is looking to gain valuable business/marketing experience for personal and professional development. I am an avid reader and have an interest in fashion and creative design. In my free time, I enjoy learning languages to expand my fluently trilingual status and I love photography and scrapbook journaling to capture memories.
