Hi! I'm Areeb Jamal, an enthusiastic Computer Engineering and Management student at McMaster University. I am currently in my fourth year, looking for opportunities to enhance and further develop my skillset. Growing up, I was always fascinated by technology and I would dismantle anything I could get my hands on, addicted to seeing how everyday objects work. From the old Gameboy to generations of PlayStation controllers, I was my siblings' worst nightmare. That is when I first recognized my true passion for computers and machinery. As I got older, I began expanding my knowledge in understanding the individual components of all the devices I opened up.That's how I ended up here, in engineering. As a big-picture-thinking individual, I often remind myself that life is too short to have regrets. This leads me to chase projects that actually excite me and to be determined in everything I put my mind to. I am always smiling and enjoying the small fraction of time I have to make an impact on the world.In my free time, I like to play video games, weightlift, and meet new people. I also avidly play volleyball, basketball, badminton, and soccer, both competitively and recreationally.
