I teach children and adults from beginner to advanced level at the Skischule am Ettelsberg. I help my students to improve their skiing and most importantly to enjoy this beautiful sport. I often get lovely comments about my enthusiastic teaching style.

As a Divemaster Trainee at Duiken in Curaçao, I assisted with dive operations, guided dives, and ensured diver safety in one of the Caribbean’s top diving destinations. During this experience, I developed skills in dive planning, problem-solving underwater, and leading groups through diverse marine environments, while gaining a deeper understanding of dive safety and teamwork.

At Sogeti I identify user needs for internal projects and clients and translate them into effective designs. My last assignment was at Gasunie's Innovation Hub, where I made a complex business process understandable, identified user needs and translated them into user stories, user flows and user-friendly designs. I also co-initiated a UX podcast for the Sogeti UX community.

I have worked as an adoption specialist and UX designer at Gasunie and Gasunie's Innovation Hub. Gasunie has many business processes that are carried out through applications. These applications do not always align with the users' needs. My initial assignment was to ensure that Gasunie's existing and new applications were user-friendly. My second assignment was within the Innovation Hub. The Innovation Hub was established to standardize the process of switching gas pipelines, which currently relies on various types of documents and processes. The process was lacking uniformity for employees, and there was a need for a future tool to address this. My task was to map out the pipeline process, identify user needs, and ultimately translate them into user stories, user flows, and a user-friendly design. I accomplished this by collaborating with stakeholders, users, and the design strategist from the Innovation Hub. The result was the creation of a comprehensive requirement document, allowing the other UX designer to proceed directly with the high-fidelity design for the future tool.

Microsoft Store-in-Store Sales advisor. As a Microsoft ambassador, it is your responsibility to discover the needs and wishes of a potential customer and to translate these factors into a Microsoft solution. I loved the fact that in this part-time job I could apply all of the Human Technology knowledge and work with real people.

Between my bachelor's and my Pre-master's, I worked for Microsoft (NL) in the Consumer Devices and Sales department. Together with my manager, who was also new, we did find a way to manage the Surface Family and PC's accessories portfolio. A couple of my responsibilities were: to support the weekly operational control, PCA marketing support, support PCA execution and with Tweakers on a marketing project.

USG People (nowadays RGF staffing) needed a new social intranet because the old intranet no longer met the requirements of the current way how people worked and communicated. USG had a variety of applications, but they were not being utilized to their full potential. USG People is the parent company of many well-known brands such as ASA, Easy way, and start people.​I worked in a small team that was accountable for the Microsoft 365 adoption project During the project our team collaborated with Microsoft, KPN ICT consulting, and Centric. Each company had a different role in the project. Nonetheless, our small team was accountable for the path we would take.​My role was to do end-user and usage study of the employees of USG-People, to find out the needs regarding a new social intranet which utilized the Microsoft 365 suite.

This project was my Human Technology thesis project. During a Human Technology thesis, the new HT engineer delivers a couple of products: a plan of approach, a preliminary research document, a research report, a prototype and an advisory report.Timing is the thirds biggest employment agency in the Netherlands. Timing needed a new social intranet because the old intranet no longer met the requirements of the current way how people worked and communicated. Timing had not mapped out the needs of their employees but knew that the old intranet was not meeting them. ​My role was to map out the needs and translate them to requirements.

During my internship at Microsoft the Netherlands, I conducted a UX-research study about the potential future end-users (students) of the Microsoft Surface Book.The Surface family was not very well known among students. The goal was to get insight into who the end-users were, what the study goals were and how they performed these goals. With these insights into the needs and current Laptop use, Microsoft could address these needs and capitalize on them with to increase the awareness of the Surface Book.My role was to perform the study but I combined the research with supporting the Consumer & Devices Sales Department with a variety of assignments like:- Keeping the Online Portfolio of Surface in check.- Designing Use Case Scenarios for demonstration of the Surface Family.
