I am a retired expert in climate change adaptation for food security and natural resource management. My focus is: have rural people build more resilience against climate change. I was facilitator of an annual CDI course in Climate Change Adaptation for Food Security and Natural Resource Management. I am interested in, and obtained experience in the nexus between food, water, energy and climate change. I like to be part of teams to review environmental impact assesments (EIA) of project for gas oil and energy in vulnerable environments with vulnerable people. I am experienced in many aspects on the brink of natural resource management and society in an international context. I obtained much experience in issues regarding governance of natural resources, including accountability, FLEGT, financing sustainable forest management, REDD and Forest Governance Monitoring. During my last years before retirement I was manager of a cooperation project between Dutch education organisations and 10 agricultural colleges in Benin, a work I did with much joy.
