• Ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of 500 kV transmission lines spanning 403.40 km in the North Region through the implementation of asset management strategies, condition assessments and targeted maintenance schedules.• Right of way management and maintaining the structural integrity of towers, conductors, hardware, dampers etc. to minimize forced outages.• Implementation of maintenance plans and fault identification and resolution in the 500kV transmission network.• Annual washing/cleaning/replacement of disc insulators and hardware prior to foggy season to prevent fog-related tripping. • Annual thermographic inspections to identify and address vulnerable points, ensuring the readiness of high-voltage transmission lines for peak load.• Coordination with the National Power Control Centre to schedule outages for preventive/ corrective/annual maintenance work. • Inventory management of Tools & Plants, PPEs and hardware required for the maintenance plans.• Preparation of monthly performance statements, tripping records, financial records, inter-departmental correspondence.• Conducting regular on-the-job and classroom safety training and seminars to promote safety awareness.• Commissioning inspection and Project delivery of 500kV Transmission Lines from new power plants, 500/220kV Grid Stations and replacement of old/damaged overhead Transmission Lines.• Acts as the focal person for divisional management, planning, scheduling and executing maintenance work while managing system emergencies and breakdowns across approximately 1006 km of 500 kV and 220 kV transmission lines.

• Review and approval of the base and detailed design of transmission line materials, including technical data sheets, drawings, design calculations, specifications etc.• Preparation and updation of transmission line material standards & specifications.• Selection of technically and economically feasible transmission line routes.• Scrutiny and approval of transmission line plan and profile drawings using PLS-CADD software.• Preparation of BOQ and Engineer’s Estimates for transmission line projects upto 500kV.• Preparation of bidding documents for procurement of material and works for transmission line projects.• Carrying out technical and financial bid evaluations and preparation of bid evaluation reports.• Preparation of RFPs for hiring of consultants for design review and construction supervision services• Vetting of Contract agreements/NOAs for procurement of material, works and consultancy services.• Witnessing of Factory Acceptance Tests of transmission line material to be procured against NTDC contracts from within Pakistan or from abroad.• Identify and ensure design compliance with all relevant standards, legislation, Customer requirements and contract specifications throughout the project lifecycle according to Quality Assurance processes. • Coordination with contractors and consultants during execution of projects and conducting site visits to review the progress to meet the project timelines.• Providing technical guidance to the Asset Management Team on design-related issues faced during O&M.

• Managing the distribution network, responding to faults and integrating new connections while complying with regulatory standards and safety requirements.• Developed and implemented preventive maintenance programs and augmentation schemes for HV/LV lines (400V & 11kV) and Distribution Transformers (15kV to 630kV).• Controlling and operation of distribution network under normal, outage and fault situations, keeping in mind safety rules, system integrity and customer care. • Good understandings about distribution network operator (DNO), Net-metering system and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system. • Extensive experience in customer care centers, with strong skills in negotiation and people management.• Assurance of Health & Safety of field teams, equipment and public/residents.
