Profile bio

About Angelica Morganti

I graduated from the Republic of Colombia National Pedagogic University with a Bachelor of Basic Education with an Emphasis on Humanities: Spanish and Foreign Languages (U.S. Equivalence: Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with specialization in Language Instruction and an academic major in Spanish) in July 2013. In addition, I have a Degree of Senior Teacher with an emphasis on Spanish Language from the Maria Auxiliadora Normal Superior School in December 2007, where I learned more about didacticism and elementary school education. My career as a teacher began in 2005, when I realized through a volunteer assistant teacher position that the future I wanted for my life was teaching students and learning from them. Through my studies and teaching experience, I have been able to learn various pedagogical approaches and with it several methods, techniques, and strategies for teaching. I gained strong experience in planning, preparing, and delivering instructional activities to students of different age groups. In addition, working with children to understand their needs, learning level, and the stages of their development enriched my career as well.Over the course of the past few years, I worked not only as a Spanish teacher, but also as an English teacher in my home country of Colombia. In 2014, I decided to make a life changing decision and come to the United States to learn more about the language and the culture through a babysitting program called Au Pair. This amazing experience has not only given me the opportunity to improve my skills in English, but also the chance to interact and teach some of my culture and native language to American children, which has made me love my profession even more.

Listed skills include Spanish, Management, Teaching, Tutoring, and 20 others.
