Research (Under Prof. K Chowdhury)Indian Institute Of Technology, Kharagpur May 2019 - Apr 2020• Analyzed the root causes of a fire accident that took place before the filter assembly in one Indian steel plant. Control room data (flow rate, pressure, valve opening, temperature etc), pictures taken after the fire and flow simulation in ANSYS Fluent helped to draw the final conclusions. • Checked the probability of Frictional heat generation in a stuck up ball valve due to sudden opening /Closing (transient) for different frictional coefficient and rotational velocity by ABAQUS/Explicit (Commercial Finite Element Analysis/ FEM software).• Submitted two papers on each of the works in STP (regarding Flammability and Sensitivity of Materials in Oxygen-Enriched Atmospheres) of ASTM. -
