Championing the IT & communications infrastructure as well as the development and continuous improvement of the company bespoke technology stack including the proprietary BathQuote system (Odoo), Gsuite, 3cx, Magento, Customer portal, Plan2Design VR, BathKad and associated integrations.Managed teams of developers for Odoo (ERP system) and Magento (eCommerce platform) projects using Scrum methodology.Managed the upgrade path from Odoo version 6 to version 8.& managing the upgrade v8 to v13.Frequently assessed and streamlined current processes, both physical and electronic, to ensure they were both cost and time efficient.Supported staff using ERP system, briefing on new features, creating production manuals and facilitating training.Managed website content and implemented competitive pricing on all items, whilst ensuring price changes were correct across all sites.Collaborating with our sister company Kadware to develop a 3D CAD app for bathroom design and VR.Maintained Google Business Suite administration, and day to day changes to Linux servers.Responsible for maintaining and developing the internal infrastructure, including network, printers, cloud services etc across multiple sites.Managed 3rd party server companies to plan, facilitate upgrades and support changes within the business.Provide in-house support for both sales & marketing platforms and consulting with 3rd party consultants when needed.Provided general administrative duties including archiving, ordering stationery, preparing for new starters and acting as the main source of information and organisation for induction activities.Main point of contact for manufacturers and customers ensuring the smooth running of the business.Report directly to the MD and Chairman of the Company.
