Senior Project Manager of Program Manager consulting projects for Corporate Motorola providing stellar supply chain recommendations from parts standardizations to automated warehousing, transportation management, and related system solution implementations Consolidated (part of a 4 member team) freight forwarding Kilograms by lane from all Asia, Europe and Latin America destinations and origins. The contract awards were old and needed re-consideration, re-bidding, re-contracting. Re-contracting ensured better service levels and cost advantages. Consolidated all Motorola supplies by point of origination/ports and destination ports from all three continents. Prepared bid documents to qualified carriers/freight forwarders in those lanes. Bids were collected and analyzed and performance measurement criteria were established and agreed upon. The negotiations yielded better performance measure criteria and cost savings of $50 M Dollars.A total of $850M Dollar worth of annual air freight contracts were re-negotiated. Reviewed Procurement strategies involving mobile phone parts suppliers and recommended on standardizing parts in design operations spanning multiple departments.
