The Erasmus internship at OUC took place in the administrativeoffices of the University, which are responsible for its properoperation and organization, as well as for its promotion andnetworking to external partners and to the wider public.Part of my duties during these two months were the promotion of theUniversity on Social Media, the creation and operation of its officialwebsite as well as the international collaborations of the faculty, as Iwas helping with the paper work for the Erasmus internships for otherstudents of the faculty as well as for incoming professors from othercountries.

Internship it is optional in the Mathematics Department of theUniversity of the Aegean, but I chose to do it because of theexperiences it offers. My internship started on 6/7/2020 and wasremoted. I collaborated with the ELORIS company, which deals withtourism in the northern Aegean. My main goal was to investigate thebehavior of tourists on the island of Samos. To do this they sent mesome questionnaires, which I initially translated into Greek so that Icould also give them to Greek tourists who visited Samos. I gave thesequestionnaires to hotels so they could give them to their customersand then we made some statistics based on the results. I was alsoassigned to do a 3,500 word paper in English on consumer behavior intourism.
