Research project ALPINE (A Low Power, Intelligent, sensor Network architecture for Environmental management)Skills used: Python, Flask, Jinja2, PostgreSQL, Git, REST, OWL, GeoRSS, GeoJSON, SQL AlchemyRole overviewAcquisition, processing and annotation of hydrological data stream from sensor feeds, in order to be suitable for semantic modelling. Design and implementation of a RESTful API and OGC Sensor Observation Service server for data dissemination.Interesting challengesThe system involved manipulation of large hydrological datasets encoded in various formats. Semantic annotation of sensor data using SWEET 2.3 ontologies (NASA), contributed towards the vision of Semantic Sensor Web. Also, research was conducted on how the developed hydrological infrastructure could be articulated with available Knowledge Organization Systems (theusari) and how to implement a SPARQL endpoint.Contribution in writing deliverables1. During this 2 month optional internship I assisted in customisation and installation of active network and new IP telephony systems. I also assisted in A' Level failure management queries.

During my studies I worked for almost 3 years at an Internet cafe. In my shift I was responsible for managing the cash register, serving customers and taking quick decisions about network and other functionality problems. I served about 50 customers in every 8 hour shift.
