- To ensure Core network availability at 99.999%. Taking preventive & corrective measures to maintain availability and services including configurations scripts preparation, verification and execution after abidance to all abidance processes- To perform all assigned system and services routines and health checks for maintaining systems performance and availability- Perform highly skilled database related tasks and definitions which may include software and hardware configurations, routing plans and signalling data etc- To ensure Customer Complaints are really resolved with in TAT and ensuring that all network services are fault-free- Preparation and implementation of emergency plans- Coordination with vendors for resolution of issues and other requirements- Monitoring of all assigned core network KPIs and drill down analysis independently wherever applicable- Troubleshooting and analysis of reported issues and take necessary improvement measures by coordinating with other departments, teams and stake holders- To keep updated record of Core network spares inventory, asset tagging and related stuff- To perform special network monitoring and troubleshooting tasks as and when assigned- To perform on site and on call activities as and when required

Worked as Core Network Engineer at VIVA MS Project. My responsibilities include:- 24*7*365 Network Surveillance- Operation and maintenance of CS and PS NEs including MGCs, MGW, IMS, SBC SE2600/SE2900 , STP, HSS, UPCC, USN and UGW.- Updating DB, conducting health checks, providing root cause analysis for any hardware related anomalies or degradation in KPIs, - Escalate faults to back office and field maintenance. Faults which cannot be resolved at first levelare escalated to back office and field maintenance engineers for further troubleshooting and resolution.- Follow up on incidents up till resolution.- Maintains the service delivery level within the agreed SLAs.- Trouble tickets management.- Perform shift routines and prepare daily and weekly reports on network faults and activities.- Perform parameter modifications with the support of back office.- Attend to customer care trouble tickets on various subscriber complaints and solve them within the contractual SLAs.- Performing basic changes in accordance with the Change Management process.- Coordination with network performance management team for the resolution of any degradation, IREG for roaming subscribers related issues, analyzing daily CS and PS KPI trends including IuCS traffic (Erl), CST, VLR count, IuPS/DT traffic, Attach/Active subscriber count and Attach/Authentication success rate. - Customer Complaint Handling, basic level troubleshooting.
